6th Annual GIMM Senior Showcase Advertisement Posters

The GIMM senior showcase at Boise State University is an annual event where seniors present their projects developed throughout their academic journey. They display immersive gaming experiences utilizing VR, along with their artwork, coding, and user experience design skills. Beyond showcasing student work, it serves as a platform for students to network with industry professionals, potentially opening doors for future opportunities.
I volunteered to design the posters for the 2024 senior showcase, responsible for establishing a theme and effectively communicating the event's content. Departing from previous space-themed approaches, I opted for a fantasy theme inspired by the resurgence of "dark fantasy" aesthetics seen in media such as The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Legend, as well as classic video game cover art. This fusion of video games and fantasy offered a fresh and captivating direction for the posters, setting them apart as unique and attention-grabbing compared to previous years.
